THE DREAM

Since I was a little girl, I loved the stage and was in every show in my private school. When I moved to Germany at 7 years old, I got involved in professional American theater. I would go to the theater straight from school and usually stay late, finishing my homework and studying in between my scenes. That's when I realized how much I loved acting. We returned to the U.S. when I was 10. This is when I decided that I would pursue my dream to be a full-time actress.

AGENTS AND AUDITIONS

My mom submitted my head shot and resume' to some reputable agencies. After months of waiting, hoping and praying, the Ivett Stone Agency wanted to rep me! My first audition was for a small teenage spot on a Barney film and I booked it! I felt that I was on my way, then things sort of slowed down. I continued to work for free doing local theater and small local video shorts just so I could act. I realized that unless acting played a significant role in my life, I wasn't happy.

Then, in 2007 everything started to fall into place. Jennifer Patredis from Kim Dawson (my dream) in Dallas and booked 2 national commercials: one for and another for 'the Game of Life: Twists and Turns'.  In the fall I booked a small role in feature film, "The Longshots".   At the same time I sent in another video audition for a dream role as a series regular on a new Disney show!  I created a video audition with Cathryn Hartt. We decided to mail in my very first take on the video! I didn’t hear anything about it for months.

SHOOTING AND  BOOKING

I went to Louisiana to film “The Longshots” and finished up March of 2008. In the meantime, Jennifer moved to L.A. and went to work for an agency there. I was sad at the thought of losing her after I prayed, worked and hoped for so long to get her.

Then one day my agent Jennifer told me that she would like to sign me in California at her new agency C.E.S.D. I didn't’t loose her after all and I got signed with an agency I dreamed of representing me.

Jennifer called and said that my Disney video audition was being highly considered and they wanted to see me in person! I could hardly believe it. I packed up for, yep, you guessed it, sunny California! After a nerve-wracking screen test and a long 6 days of waiting and hoping, I got a phone call that changed my life! I had booked the totally fun role of Bailey Pickett on the Suite Life on Deck on Disney Channel.  I would be acting alongside Cole and Dylan Sprouse, Brenda Song, and Phil Lewis!  A week later, my mother and I packed up for real this time and left my dad and brother at home to move to L.A.!

OTHER PROJECTS

Since I have been on the show, I have not found time to do much else, but acting is still my first love. I get to attend a lot of events.  I am still looking for a special charity to get behind and make a difference.  Until I find it, I'm checking a lot of them out to find the right one.   I managed to fit in the small role Kimberly on an independent family film “What If’” on my week off.  I got to work with Kevin Sorbo and Kristy Swanson who play my parents.

My latest project is 16 Wishes. Here is the press release

In the comedy, "Sixteen Wishes", Abby Jensen (Debby Ryan) has been planning for her 16th birthday ever since she was a little girl - she can’t wait to grow up. When the big day actually arrives, she excitedly adds her 16th and final wish to the Wish List secretly taped to her closet door. But disaster strikes and Abby’s about to have the worst birthday ever when she receives a box of Sweet Sixteen Birthday Candles, each of which corresponds to a wish on her list! As her wishes come true, her day gets better and better until she makes a wish that changes everything and helps her finally understand that being a kid isn't¹t so bad.

MUSIC

Since my brother Chase Ryan is a singer/songwriter/musician and I love music it is a huge part of my life. I write and play music at home.  My character Bailey did a song on the Suite Life on Deck (“Beauty and the Fleeced") and I did a song for a Disney project that I can't talk about now, but I don’t know if I’ll really pursue a music career.  I did write and record a single called “Adios” but I'm waiting for the right opportunity to introduce it. I think you will like it.   I was truly blessed with the opportunity to do a cover song for DisneyMania 7.  I did a cover of the song Hakuna Matata and it's the first time my music is available on iTunes. WRITING

From my appreciation of music, I write a Music Blog for my website.  Check it out! I have even started interviewing musicians that I link from my YouTube channel.

I am writing a screenplay in my off time that I want to one-day produce and co-direct.I love the story, it’s about finding yourself and your independence, dependence, love, peer pressure and decisions.  I am developing a fun pilot that I really would love to one day produce. It’s still early in the stages of development.

I have the sweetest, most dedicated and amazing fans in the world!  Many of them have supported me from the very beginning.  My fans make living my dream so much for fun!  Thank you for reading!
